Spy Camp

SPY CAMP 31st May 2010. Students were invited to become members of different government agencies whose job it was to complete missions of paramount importance to the national security of the United States of America and Europe. The agents trained to become spies through a series of tasks whilst piecing together information about the terrorist who was on the lose.

To begin with students passed through customs to ensure they were not smuggling Spanish items into camp and so they understood that there was to be no Spanish spoken at camp.

Different gadgets were designed by each group who then presented their ideas in an attempt to sell the new models to a mysterious character.

Throughout the camp the terrorist struck several times but was finally unmasked and apprehended by the students.

Carcaraes by Melina Bastarreche and Sofia Candela Benitez

Carcaraes is a very nice place in Santa Fe near Rosario. We recommend it.

The bedrooms are very nice. There are some upstairs and some downstairs. They are very comfortable too. They have a heater and air conditioner for your comfort. There is a bathroom in each bedroom and the beds are very comfortable.

In the reception you have two computers, comfortable sofas and an outside reception if you want to ask something or complain.

In the TV room you have more sofas, films and a TV. You can go there when you want and the films are for all ages.

In the white tent we meet to discuss and think where is the terrorist, to drink hot chocolate and the casino night will be there.

In the courtyard we meet to make the gadgets and make the speeches we will have to show this evening in the casino. The chairs and the stools are very comfortable and lovely. They are really nice.

In the restaurant we have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is delicious. The chairs are comfortable and the place is really nice. They gave us food from different countries. For example, Russia, USA and India.

Campfire by Maria Belen Caponelli

The campfire was great. The children enjoyed it a lot. They sang, danced and played. Some of them said that they enjoyed to sing most, some to dance, and some to play. But if I have to choose one I prefer dancing because we danced the ¨Chicken Dance.¨ Also, there was a fire and trunks to sit on.

Terrorist by Maria Belen Pravato

Here we are in Carcaraes and we heard about a terrorist. We don´t know who it is be we are suspecting Sarah. On Monday, the terrorist messed up our bedrooms at night like in these photos.

The 2nd of June we will know who is the terrorist. See you then!

Games by Camila Suarez

The games that we have played during these days were all very fun and made us play as a team. I really like to play with the counselors. It was very interesting to play with our mates too because we got to know each other better. I am very happy because we spent an excellent time here and enjoyed this trip a lot.

Capture the flag, for example, is one of the games that we played the first day, and it was the best game for me. We also played British Bulldogs, Rounds and Stuck in the Mud. I like them all because they were fantastic.
